Thursday, July 6
Celebration begins*, check in, watch conference, closing awards ceremony and Delegate Fire Ceremony

Opening Ceremony, Panel Discussions, debate in General Assembly, BBQ & Music, Fellowship, Alumni Fire Ceremony
Saturday, July 8
Panels, Roundtable time, hikes, organized excursions, dessert social, closing remarks (departure if desired)

*Note: Delegates who graduated high school in 2016 are not allowed to attend sessions on Thursday and must check in on Friday.
COST
The Celebration fee is $100 per adult and $40 per child 3-16 years old. Children under 3 attend for no cost. Lodging is not included (see below). Payment is due at time of registration. Everyone who registers by May 5 will receive a $10 off coupon to the CONA Store to purchase a shirt, sweatshirt, or other paraphernalia. Registration will close on June 5 at Noon.
The fee covers 3 meals (Friday lunch, Friday BBQ dinner & music, Saturday lunch) and two dessert socials.
At registration you will also have the option to contribute to support Conference Scholarships that will help delegates attend National Affairs.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND*
Thursday, July 6, through Sunday, July 9:
• Conference on National Affairs (CONA) alumni who graduated high school in 2015 or earlier.
• Adults associated with CONA in any year
• Spouses/partners and children of the above
Friday, July 7, through Sunday, July 9:
• Conference on National Affairs (CONA) alumni who graduated high school in 2016 or earlier.
• Adults associated with CONA in any year
• Spouses/partners and children of the above
*All attendees must register and pay the conference fee.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation before, during and after conference activities is the responsibility of attendees unless otherwise indicated on the conference schedule.
LODGING
YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly will be the site for all official celebration activities. Guest rooms will be available for Friday and Saturday nights only, as the 50th conference will be concluding on Thursday evening.
If you don’t stay at Blue Ridge Assembly, there are many locations in the Black Mountain/Asheville area to stay for Thursday or for the duration of the 50th celebration. Each location will have its own rates and availability and summer dates book up quickly, so it is advised to make your reservations as early as possible.

MEALS
Conference fee covers Friday Lunch & Supper and Saturday Lunch as well as two dessert socials. Breakfast is included for those staying at Blue Ridge Assembly. Meals are “on your own,” unless otherwise indicated on the conference schedule.
ATTIRE
Proper casual dress.
BEHAVIOR
Conference on National Affairs and Blue Ridge Assembly rules apply for the alumni reunion. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Wearing nametags to all events, especially meals;
• No flammable or fire-producing items prohibited on campus;
• No smoking/illegal drugs/alcohol on campus;
