Since 1968, The YMCA Conference on National Affairs has provided the youth of our nation an opportunity to develop moral character and to work creatively with other teen leaders while proposing and discussing well defined and accurate solutions to society’s challenging needs. Though the Conference is marked by intense debate and discussion, one of the most important purposes is that it allows young people to come together, exchange ideas, and build friendships.
This program would not be possible without the generous support of the contributors to the National Affairs Annual Support Campaign. Funds raised in the campaign will also allow the Conference to:
• Provide scholarships for participants to attend the conference
• Help to add value to participants’ experience by underwriting a portion of CONA registration fees
• Provide scholarships to deserving CONA high school seniors to use for college tuition
• Make a contribution to the CONA Endowment Fund, ensuring the future of this conference
