Media Delegate Application
Delegates who wish to participate in the Media program should first contact their State Trip Director for approval. Then delegates must submit an application and a sample of their work. Applications and work samples are due on a rolling basis with the majority of the Media staff chosen at the first deadline. The deadlines are:
Media delegates will NOT be included in the 30 delegate count per state.
Steps to apply:
- Complete the quick online application at the link above. Please review the CONA Media Organizational Chart to see if you have interest in a Media Leadership position.
- Submit at least one example of your best prior media work. It can be a story, blog, photo, video, layout, or graphic. Youth in Government work preferred but can be work from other activities.
- Submit one story, video, or social media idea for the Youth Conference on National Affairs
- Submissions must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
The deadline to apply is May 3rd
